Testing
It's 2015, and the first run on the track since the 13B PP and half-cage were put in. Willwood brakes also added for some stopping power.
Icebreaker
At the 2015 Icebreaker event as part of the Classic Trials crew. Inconsistent lap times counted against any podium placing.
Road Legal
Back from a stint offshore. Still with sparse livery, but road legal. A fun Sunday drive!
Livery Time!
Decided to spruce her up with some livery for the 2023 Classic Trials. Also included extending the half cage to a full cage.
Hamptons
Competed in the 2024 Classic Trials. Some great racing with an Escort Mexico and Ford Mustang. Still out of the podium, but managed a couple of 4th places.
Cornering
While she is super-quick on the straights, Iain is still trying to improve cornering speeds.
Mixing It
Classic Trials provides an opportunity to race with a wide variety of cars in a historically safe format.
Taupo
2025 started with our first outing in Taupo. A beaut day and made it into the top 5. Starting to get the hang of consistent lap times.
Sparco bits
We're mad about Sparco here at Cosmo Motorsports. Can you tell? This is the interior of Creamy.
Fuel?
Still road legal and great for a ride to the corner shop. Although you need to remember to keep an eye on the fuel gauge. Stranded and waiting for a tow.
Ellerslie Show
You'll find us at the Ellerslie Car Show most years, promoting the Classic Trials race series. Creamy always gets a bit of attention.
Nemesis
Always a good day out racing against Rex in his beautiful Mk1 Escort Mexico. We're quicker on the straights, but he is a master in the corners.
