Currently undertaking a full rebuild/restore down to every last bolt.
Trademe
Bought off Trademe for a song, Frogger had a reasonably smart exterior, but was found a bit wanting in the interior.
Modgies
First things first. Time to throw away (store) the Rohs and slap some period correct Modgies on her. Approve?
Re-trim
Time to chuck out the broken Evo seats and throw some Momo at the interior with a full lime green accent re-trim. Geniune door cards / trim banked if we want to go back to original one-day. Mega.
Sparkle & Shine
Probably the best thing about her before the re-trim was the paint - a nice lime green with gold fleck. Sparkled with a polish.
Golden Hour
A couple of great Sunday drives. Father and son. Old school and 'reasonably' New school.
Warrant
After failing a warrant of fitness for rust in the C-pillar, we took a closer look realised it was time for a full bare metal restoration.
Houston...
...we have a problem. If it wasn't rust we found, it was bog. Frogga (bogga!) had definitely seen better days. Time to delete the rust/bog and put some metal back into her.
Limer
Forget the gold fleck. Let's go nuclear on the Lime colour. Shocking Lime. Kawasaki!
Limest
Yep. She sure is a more aggressive in the sunlight.
Rebuild
But we do need an engine. Thankfully the old housings were in good shape, so its a rebuild of the Bridgeport with fresh new internals.
EFI?
And to improve drive-ability we decided to go with EFI, courtesy of a Link Computer plumbed in by Scott. And a mega engine rebuild thanks to Garry.
Scotty!
Keep working your magic! Now we have all the wiring out, lets throw in some trick security and sounds for good order.
